Caregiver Support Project 2.0 – Dissemination Project

 

Introduction

Funded by the Simon K Y Lee Elderly Fund, Hong Kong Christian Service has launched the Caregiver Support Project 2.0 in collaboration with Saint Francis University and City University of Hong Kong from December 2023 to November 2025. Based on the experience and findings from the previous phase, Caregiver Support Project 2.0 strives to equip social workers with a scientific, comprehensive and validated working model to provide finer casework and group services.

 

Target Service Users

Caregivers aged 21 or above who provide unpaid assistance to frail elders aged 60 or above

 

Service Contents

  • Caregiver Support Model: Provides Individual follow-up and service plan for caregivers
  • Psycho-education Program on Empowerment: Provides psycho-education groups to caregivers
