Our Colleague was Awarded the Junior Outstanding Social Worker

We would like to congratulate Miss So Ka Wing of our Withdrawn Youth Support Network Enhancement Project (WYSN(EP)) being awarded the Junior Outstanding Social Worker in the 23rd Hong Kong Social Workers Association Outstanding Social Worker Award. The award presentation ceremony was held on 17 January 2014 at the Annual General Meeting of the Hong Kong Social Workers Association. And Miss Carol Yip, JP, Director of Social Welfare was the guest of honour to present the awards.

Miss So joined us in 2009, she has been helping the withdrawn youth to step out of their homes throughout her 4 years’ of being a social worker. Society and family are closely related in order to help them to break away from “withdrawal”, she hopes that by advocating and educating the public from an impartial perspective on the phenomenon, the society can have more understanding on them and lend them a helping hand.
