Project THC – Stratified Cannabis Users Intervention

Project THC – Stratified Cannabis Users Intervention

Introduction

According to Narcotic Division, more people, especially teenagers/ youngers, were reported to abuse cannabis in recent years. As more countries are planning to legalise cannabis, local cannabis users are likely to show resistance to the discourse of “cannabis is a drug”. Sometimes they ignore the negative influences of cannabis and show unwillingness to seek help.

Funded by Beat Drug Fund, a two-year project named “Project THC – Stratified Cannabis Users Intervention” has been launched on 1st August 2022. Given that THC refers to “Treatment”, “Health” and “Connection”, the project aims at providing a non-judgmental platform for various cannabis users to review and discover the meanings and effects of taking cannabis, as well as building a positive living attitude for them.
