CS Daily：70th Anniversary Celebration

2022 marked the 70th anniversary of Hong Kong Christian Service. We held different charity and celebration events to let the public understand how we abide by our humble start and serve the society. Let us review the highlights of the anniversary celebration.

70th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service　Salvation reach others through our serving

Presided over by our Chairman of the Management Committee, Rev Dr Lam Sung Che, the service was held at Ward Memorial Methodist Church on 9 December 2022. Our Former Chairman, Rev Dr So Shing Yit Eric preached a sermon titled ‘Christian Service: To do and not to do.’ The service ended with the benediction of our Former Chairman, Rev Dr Li Ping Kwong, SBS. A worship team composed of our colleagues and a children choir composed of students from our nursery schools and kindergartens sang praise to our Lord’s guidance and mercy.

 

During the Dedication Ceremony, participants put acrylic hearts engraving the words ‘Faith,’ ‘Hope’ and ‘Love’ into a boat carrying a cross, which signified our determination to continue to do what the Lord has entrusted us so that salvation could reach others through our serving.
