Responsibilities
  • To engage, recruit and provide direct services to ethnic minority elderly carers including casework, groups and programmes.
  • To develop promotional strategies for introducing the project to larger clients and stakeholders.
  • To provide need assessment, guidance and referral services to service users.
  • To handle drop-in services and general enquiries.
  • To build up social networks with service users and volunteers.

 

Requirements
  • Holder of Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma or above in Social Work.
  • Recognised by Hong Kong’s Social Workers Registration Board for registration Registered Social Worker.
  • Fluent in spoken English and Cantonese as well as precise and concise in English and Chinese writing.
  • Computer literate with knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Passionate in serving ethnic minority community.
  • Caring and patient with good communication skills.
  • Mature and able to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work in multi-districts.
  • Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
