Policy advocacy is one of the major missions of Hong
Kong Christian Service even after organisational restructuring
last year, through the implementation by this Policy
Research Committee and the Professional Assistant responsible
for research and advocacy.
Besides sending opinion paper to relevant government
bureaus to advocate for better policy, HKCS has also
sent representatives to give oral presentation at Legco
on various policy areas.
In the past year, Policy Research Committee also set
up the Education Policy Sub-Committee to study and show
concern about education policy in Hong Kong.
