Objectives:
- To assist needy local South Asians in accessing essential social services
- To fortify social services units in serving needy local South Asians
Target:
- All local South Asians who encounter language barrier in accessing social services
- Service providers of NGOs or Government Departments serving local South Asians
Contents:
- Verbal (On-site) Interpretation Service
- Free of Charge verbal (on-site) interpretation and escort services to local South Asians and social service providers in Urdu, Nepali, Hindi and English
- Written Translation Service:
- Written translation service from English to Urdu, Nepali or Hindi
- Consultation Hotline and On-phone Interpretation Service:
- Consultation hotline for social services information and referrals in Urdu, Nepali, Hindi or English
- On-phone convenient verbal interpretation support in Urdu, Nepali, Hindi and English
