| Objectives: |
- To enhance participants’ exposure to the
situations and the distinctive cultures of the
South Asian people in Hong Kong
- To develop participants’ understanding, acceptance
and respect to other cultures

| Main Targets: |
This workshop is specifically
suitable for
- Local Chinese secondary school students
- Local Chinese university students
- Local Chinese who are 13 years old or above

| Contents: |
2 hours workshop
which include:
- Overview on the living situation of South
Asians in Hong Kong
- Understanding on the cultures of Nepal, Pakistan
and India such as religions, customs, food and
art etc.
- Face to face meeting and sharing with local
South Asian people
4 hours workshop which include:
- Overview on the living situation of South
Asians in Hong Kong
- Understanding on the cultures of Nepal, Pakistan
and India such as religions, customs, food and
art
- Learning of South Asian cooking and art such
as henna drawing, dancing etc.
- Visits to South Asians’ gathering places such
as mosques, temples and shops

- 2 hours workshop: $25 per person
- 4 hours workshop: $60 per person (transportation
is not included)
