Objectives
Outreaching social workers seek to reach out to and establish
direct contact with young people who are vulnerable to
undesirable influences in the places that these young
people are known to frequent. Once engagement is possible,
outreaching social workers are then able to provide relevant
services to help these young people to cope with their
problems, meet their needs in socially acceptable manner
and assist them in fulfilling their potentials.
