To demonstrate our cooperative spirit in working with
business partnership, HKCS had selected 4 project proposals
to participate in the AEON Love & Care Campaign,
an event co-organised by Hong Kong Council of Social
Service and AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd.
The campaign will help promote 60 selected service
projects. Five service projects will be campaigned for
in each and every month from November 2003 until September
2004 at eight general merchandise stores (Store name:
JUSCO). Exhibition panels will be displayed in the stores
to show the nature and the beneficiary group of each
specific project from 1st to 16th of their respective
scheduled promotional month. Customers are encouraged
to support certain displayed service through the amount
of their purchases at the store. They will then drop
their receipts into the designated service collection
box situated in the store. At the end of the scheduled
promotional month, the one that has received the highest
dollar amount of collected receipts, implying that it
has been given the greatest support, will receive a
one-time grant from AEON, a 1.6% of the total amount
tallied from all the receipts in its collection box.
The remaining four projects will each receive $ 3,000
grant from AEON.
