Being
invited by the Zhongshan (Sun Yat-sen) University (SYSU), Mr.
Ng Shui-lai (Director of the Agency) and Mr. Barry Wong (Head
of Corporate Affairs and Community Relations Department) paid
their first visit to the University on April 17,2002. They met
Prof. Cai He (Deputy Dean, Faculty of Government Policy and
Public Affairs Management), Prof. Li Wei-min (Deputy Director,
Department of Sociology), Dr He Li-ping (Associate Professor,
Department of Sociology) and some key teachers. In the meeting,
they discussed about future collaboration and Mr. Ng, on behalf
of Hong Kong Christian Service, presented a set of Agency's
publications to them as a souvenir. Likewise, on the 18th, Mr.
Ng and Mr. Wong gave speeches on "The Development of Social
Work in Developing Society" and "A Retrospective View
of Social Work" respectively to the first year social work
students at the Zhuhai School Base in SYSU. They received enthusiastic
response from the audience.
