A four-member team from the Chinese Association of Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment came to visit our headquarters on January 28, 1999. The team members included Standing Vice General Chairman Mr Pan Xue-Tian, Standing Vice General Secretary Mr Li Bao-Hui, and Officer Director Ms Lu Min. A reception was held by our Directorate, Service Supervisor of PS33-Centre for Psychotropic Substance Abusers, and Project Officer (China Project). Both parties have a good sharing and exchange in drug rehabilitation experience.

In addition, 18 members of the League of Taipei Social Welfare came to visit us on March 15, 1999. The league acts as a liaison to reflect the concerns and service needs of children, women, elders, youths, and the physically handicapped to Taiwan government. An introduction of Hong Kong's social welfare situation was provided by our Director, both parties learnt more about the welfare content of the two places.
