In order to carry out the main task of our Agency and to pool expectise from staff , several committees have been set up. These are standing committees in which members are appointed on a two-year term.

In the period of 1999 to 2001, 7 new committees was set up:

1. Service Development Committee: responsible for examining and discussing Agency's service development including direction, strategies and ways of implementations.

2. Policy Research Committee: responsible for planning and discussing the advocacy and research work, strategies and follow up actions should also be advised.

3. Think Tank: give thoughts on topics on the development of social welfare or Agency, members should provide analysis and different options to the Director.

4. Committee on China Project: to make strategy plan on the activities related to the social welfare projects in China.

5. CS News Editorial Board: responsible for discussing the editorial direction as well as the content of Christian Service Newsletter.

6. Publications Committee: responsible for setting up the direction of our publications, formulating publication plans of the Agency.

7. Committee on Computerization: to plan the Agency's computerization progress, study and review on computer equipment, and make recommendation on recommend related issues to the Director.

Furthermore, ad hoc working groups will also be set up when there is a need.
