On July 14, the 33rd graduation ceremony of the Kwun Tong Vocational Training Centre was held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

The 5 departments of the Centre(HKAL Section, Accounting and Computing Department, Commercial Department, Design and Photography Department, Hotel and Catering Services Department) have opened 9 one-year full-time Certificate Courses in Vocational Training, 4 two-year full-time Advanced Certificate Courses, and 1 two-year Sixth Form Course - a total of 33 classes. There were 1,336 students taking their final examinations and the number of graduates was 794.

The results in public examinations are encouraging, 2 students won awards in the examination of London Chamber Commerce and Industry and another award was won from the Pitman Examinations Institute. Students in the Design and Photography Department also won a total of 18 prizes in 4 open competitions.
