Shamshuipo
Outreaching Team
The Shamshuipo Outreaching Team has
launched a new 6-month project
called "Project Metamorphosis" on October
6, 1997. The Project is aimed to
fight against gangsters activities
in the Shamshuipo area. The service targets
are residents of 6 to 24 years old.
The Team intends to convey the bad
influence of gangsters activities
through different types of functions,
and to correct the powerful image which
usually relates to gangsters. The first
function activity, "The Future's in Your
Own Hands - Story Competition", was
carried out in October 1997. It aimed to
enable the youths to use their own
thinking to plan for a better future.
