Our annual staff meeting is an important event for Hong Kong Christian Service. Its main objective is to facilitate dual communication between the top management level and frontline colleagues.

"I deeply appreciate the work done by all of you, and I long to see more dreams come true." This is the opening statement made by Rev. Lee Ping Kwong, chairman of the Management Committee, in our 2007 staff assembly that took place in February. The sharing of Rev. Lee was followed by 'Dialogue with CEO', a question and answer session for all staff to communicate with our Chief Executive, Mr. Ng Shui Lai.

The theme of the assembly, 'Appreciation and Dreams @HKCS' was brought into visual significance by the effort of the 800 staff who were present that evening. Everyone wrote down one's words of appreciation and dream towards the agency. Then Rev. Lee, together with the members of the Agency Business Meeting, on behalf of all staff raised all our 'appreciation' and 'dreams' up as a backdrop on the stage in front of everybody as a symbolic gesture to keep the theme in mind.
