Jim San-san, a young lady from Mainland China, is one of our treasured volunteers at Shamshuipo Central Integrated Children and Youth Service. From the moment she started her volunteering services to the time she became involved in the planning and leadership roles, outstanding performance has accompanied her. She is especially dedicated to the cause of children from underprivileged families. In order to help them more effectively, she purposely equipped herself by completing a course on Child Counseling.
Miss Jim firmly believes that young people need to have a sense of responsibility. Although she is not an outstanding student in the class, she gave her best to assist in the planning and organising of the Shamshuipo Youth Summit Conference. Her strong sense of conviction, steadfastness and total commitment touched many youths that were around her. We are pleased that her dedication has been recognised and she was chosen as the winner of Hong Kong's 06-07 Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award. |
