HKCS was one of the 48 organisations that won the gold prize under the Web Care Award in recognition of our website's easy accessibility. In fact, we were one of the very few social service organisations awarded the prize.

The Web Care Award, sponsored by the Internet Professionals Association (iProA), is presented to companies and organisations in recognition of their efforts in providing a barrier-free internet environment to needy communities and under-privileged groups, such as the disabled, the elderly, the sick, the poor as well as women and children. Thanks to these caring organizations, these groups will now have equal opportunity in receiving or sharing the benefits brought about by the development of the internet in Hong Kong.
