Our Family Aide Worker Awarded Both the "ERB Outstanding Award for Trainees" and "The Most Touching Trainee Story Award"

  • We hereby congratulate Ms. Chan Yun Ping for receiving the 6th Employee Retraining Board (ERB) "Manpower Development Scheme" of the "ERB Outstanding Award for Trainees" and "The Most Touching Trainee Story Award". Ms.Chan is a family aide worker of our Family Ties Integrated Family Service Centre, she is responsible for teaching pregnant women of deprived families skills to take care of their new born babies, pre and post natal care, care for the children and family, cooking skills, household chores etc. Before joining HKCS, Ms. Chan received home helper training and post natal care training from ERB with outstanding performances. Despite of the crises in her family, career and finance, Ms. Chan could face the adversities toughly; therefore on top of the ERB Outstanding Award for Trainees, she was also awarded their first and new "The Most Touching Trainee Story Award". Ms. Chan shared that she could apply what she has learnt to her job and she felt very happy and had great satisfaction seeing the growth and vitality in the service users.
