Integrated Children and Youth Service - Joint Program

With the successful experience in Phase one over the last academic year, Happy Teens Club (Integrated Children and Youth Service) of our agency will continue our collaboration with Dr. Fung Lai Chu, Annis, Assistant Professor of Department of Applied Social Studies, City University of Hong Kong in launching Phase two of "Project C.A.R.E. - Children and Adolescents at Risk Education" from August 2007 to August 2009. As Phase one, this two-years- project would be funded  by Quality Education Fund. Tailor-made intervention programs against bullying will be organized for twenty secondary schools. Together with the ten schools served in Phase one, the Project would provide services to a total number of 30 secondary schools in Hong Kong.

Project contents include organizing therapeutic groups for students, training courses for teachers, workshops for parents, seminars for students, carrying out in-depth assessment and effectiveness evaluation, developing training package and organizing training workshops and seminars for professionals. Through these interventions, the Project aims at developing indigenous model and strategies on working with school bullying problem in Hong Kong.
